The following works are standalone creative explorations that each experiment with different visual techniques, rendering methods, and storytelling approaches. While independent, many of the methods developed here may inform or evolve into future major projects.
Motion Trails is a stylistic animation that uses an advanced particle system in Blender to generate luminous trails that flow behind the character’s movement. Starting with a Daz3D figure and motion data sourced through Mixamo, the animation was refined in Blender and paired with a minimalist environment designed to direct attention toward the particle effect.
The technique was developed through a tutorial by Bad Normals, and allowed me to explore motion abstraction, light-based composition, and the relationship between character movement and simulated visual energy
Low-Poly Christmas is a warm, atmospheric environment built entirely through simplified modelling techniques and plain shaders to evoke a stylised, handcrafted aesthetic.
A small dynamic flame animation was placed inside the fireplace to bring life to the scene, while an orthographic camera was used to enhance symmetry and elevate the composition.
This piece demonstrates clean visual design, efficient modelling, and my continued interest in stylised worldbuilding.
City at Night is an urban environment created using a combination of custom models and high-quality building textures sourced from textures.com. Fire escapes, air-conditioning units, and other industrial elements were modelled to add character and realism.
To achieve mood and depth, emission textures were used to illuminate windows and signage, while a volume shader introduced atmospheric fog. A procedural sci-fi-inspired billboard, created using geometry nodes, adds a final layer of visual interest and narrative potential to the scene.
